Results: Support for Homelessness Galway

In the latest Galway Share the Love campaign the project that received most votes was Galway Simon Community’s Essentials Fund. Your votes will translate into a €500 donation by SL Controls.

The Essentials Fund translate a €500 donation into the essential start kit that will help a family when they are found a home. It helps equip a kitchen with pots and pans and food or buys bed linen and towels. Things that most of us take for granted. Things that make a massive difference in making a house a home.

The Essentials Fund was also set up to prevent people from sliding into emergency homeless provision, by providing a variety of emergency basic essentials such as heating, electricity and groceries.
